Kent Morris

Kent A. Morris, 48, of Zionsville, IN passed away March 4, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born in Indianapolis on April 11, 1965 to Glen A. and Lynda K. (Israel) Morris. Kent was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and Purdue University. He married Mary Ann Ballard on December 16, 1995. Most recently, Kent worked for Willoughby Industries. Before that, he was a bus driver for the Zionsville School system for 7 years. His little kids meant the world to him. Kent was a member of the Boone Co. Antique Tractor Club, Boone Co. Conservation Club, and the NRA. He, Mary Ann and their daughters Kaitlyn and Kelly were very active in Boone Co. 4-H Club. Kent was a 4-H shooting instructor and spent many hours teaching young children gun safety and proper shooting technique. He also spent many happy hours farming and playing the piano. Kent is survived by his wife Mary Ann; daughters Kaitlyn Suzanne and Kelly Elizabeth; his parents Glen and Lynda; his brother Ryan Morris (Stephanie), his brothers-in-law Duard Ballard, Dan Ballard, Don Ballard (Sheri), Greg Ballard (Winnie), and a large and loving extended family. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville.
