Kenneth William Cooke of Carmel passed away on January 13, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was born on February 3, 1949 in Logansport and was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Barbara Cooke. He attended Carroll High School before transferring to and graduating from Northwestern High School in Kokomo in 1967. He graduated from Hanover College in 1971 with a degree in Political Science, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Will later attended the University of Louisville where he graduated with a law degree in 1975. He is survived by his children, Emily Cooke of Jackson, Mississippi, and Brian Cooke of Bloomington, and by his former wife, Terri Schueler Cooke. Will is also survived by three brothers, Tom Cooke of Carmel, Indiana, Dave Cooke of Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Tony Cooke of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as well as seven nieces and nephews and four grand-nieces.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Aspire Indiana Behavioral Health System.
