Kenneth W. -Ken- Gigax

Kenneth W. “Ken” Gigax, 73 of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. Ken was born November 3, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Floyd and Gene Gigax. He was a 1964 graduate of Notre Dame University. Ken was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea from 1965 to 1967.

Ken was a businessman who succeeded his father in operating General Trailer Co. until its closure. He was a car enthusiast and could recall exact details of every car owned by anyone in the family from 1952 to present.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16 at Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, March 17 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by his sisters, Connie Gigax and Penny Handshaw; sister-in-law, Paula Kelly; several cousins.
