Kenneth St. Laurent
The Lord called Kenneth home on July 1, 2016 at the age of 88. He was born in Long Island, NY on June 17, 1928 to Joseph and Alice St. Laurent. He enlisted in the Merchant Marines at age 16, then enlisted in the US Marine Corps at age 17. He served his country honorably in China during WWII. He discharged from Crane Naval Ammunition Depot, Crane, IN on August 13, 1949.

Kenneth married Audrey McDaniel at the McDoel Baptist Church in Bloomington, IN on August 1949. They moved to Indianapolis in 1951. He retired from Lucent Technologies after 32 years of service in production control.

Kenneth was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church, when they felt called to start a new church. He had just graduated from Indiana Bible College, when they asked for volunteers to go, and they were one of five families. Now called McGregor Road Baptist Church in Acton, IN, he was their pastor for 18 months until they were able to pay a full-time pastor. He led the Sr. High Youth Group and held several church positions at Burge Terrace and McGregor Road.

He loved boating, water skiing, had a pilots license, motorcycles, did some hunting, fishing, golfing, wood-working, painting, traveling the U.S. with his camper to Holland, MI State Park, beaches and especially Hawaii.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Audrey; two sons, David (Kim) and Kevin (Marci); 6 grandchildren: Andy (Adrienne), Scott (Paige), Brittany, Lukas, Taylor St. Laurent Echols (Terrence), and Kiley Williams; three great grandchildren, Adelyn and Tate St. Laurent, and Addison Williams. He will be missed by all.

Calling will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon. Entombment with military honors provided by members of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Military Honor Guard will follow services in Washington Park East Cemetery.
