Kenneth N. Lester

Kenneth N. Lester 58, of Fillmore, died December 7, 2010. He was born November 10, 1952, in Owosso, Michigan. He lived in Flint and Grand Blanc, Michigan, graduating from Grand Blanc Senior High School in 1971. Kenneth served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1975, where he was stationed in Germany. He moved to Indiana in 1975 and lived here to the present day. Kenneth worked as an Indiana State Correctional Officer. He is survived by his mother, Leola LaVaughn Lester; brothers, Robert Lee Lester, and Richard Todd (Sherry Renee)Lester; sisters, Cheryl LaVaughn (Tom Caplinger) Mayhew, and Dana Lynn Lester. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Lester, Sr. Visitation for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
