Kenneth James Veil

Kenneth James Veil 67, of Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at his home. Ken was born April 24, 1945 in Detroit, MI. He was a 1968 graduate of the University of Dayton and was a member of Delta Tau Nu Fraternity. Ken was Vice President of Human Recourses for the Forum Group. He most recently had been a bus driver for Carmel Clay Schools. Ken was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and the Men's Club at Brookshire Golf Course. Friends and family are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31 in Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel . A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 1 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Ken is survived by his wife, Deborah L.; daughters, Amanda V. (husband, Matthew) Minnes and Kendra L. Veil; grandson, Eli Kenneth Minnes; mother, Grace Raths Veil; brother, James Veil. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal Veil and brother, Gerald F. Veil. The family would like to thank Dr. Gupta, Dr. Peyton and their nursing staff, along with St. Vincent Hospice for the wonderful care Ken received.
