Kenneth E. 'Kenny' Gilbert

Kenneth E. Gilbert, 73 of Fishers, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 15, 2015. He was born January 13, 1942 in Fort Wayne, IN to Ernest and Geraldine Gilbert who precede him in death. He graduated from Central High School in 1960 in Fort Wayne and served in the Silent Service in the US Navy. He enjoyed talking to people, reading and watching television, especially documentaries. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Gilbert. Surviving to cherish his memory are his sisters, Karen (James) Derbyshire and Phyllis (Allan) Gildenhar, niece, Jennifer (Christopher) Hunter and great-nephew, Braydon Hunter. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday, June 26, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Arrangements under the care Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
