Kenneth Doerr

Kenneth K. Doerr, 62, Indianapolis, born April 17, 1951, passed away February 2, 2014 after a valiant two year battle with ALS. Ken was a loving husband to Joy. He is also survived by his brother Randy, daughters Sara, Karen and Hannah, grandchildren Addison, Lilly and Lucy. Ken is preceded in death by his parents Dale and Mary Doerr. He graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1969 and Butler University in 1976. Ken was an operations manager for Westinghouse, Polygram Records and Bentcil Corporation over his forty year career. Ken cherished every moment spent with his wife Joy. He enjoyed golfing with his father and brother. Memorial contributions may be made to The First Tee at www.thefirsttee.org. Calling will be held Friday evening from 4-7pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North. A memorial service will be held there Saturday at 11am, with visitation an hour prior.
