Kenneth C. Bourke
89, Indianapolis passed away January 18, 2013 at home in Avon.
He was born July 12, 1923 in Bloomington, IN the son of Charles and Bertha Bourke.
Kenneth had worked for the Star News retiring 1980. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving honorably during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion. Kenneth was larger than life and lived it to the fullest.
Kenneth is survived by a son, Nelson James Bourke, (wife-Cynde) Indianapolis; daughters, Anita Segner, (husband-John), Georgia, Kim Lee, (husband-Harry), Florida, Charlene Bourke-Walters, Indianapolis and companion, Mary Frederick; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann and a brother.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N Holt Rd. with visitation from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
