Kenneth A. Borgus

Kenneth Arthur Borgus, 78, of Carmel, IN passed away on Tuesday, June 1^st at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Kenneth was born November 7, 1942 to Harold and Ethel (Pimm) Borgus in Rochester, NY, and was a graduate of Spencerport High School and the University of Rochester – Simon Business School. Retired from Koorsen Fire & Security (1997-2008) where he served as a Corporate Credit Manager, Kenneth had a long career in business and finance serving in positions such as Assistant Controller for B Forman Co. (1964-1973), Credit Manager for Sibley’s (1973 – 1985), and VP of Credit and Collections for LS Ayres (1985-1987). He was also President of MHS Associates, Inc from 1997 – 2004 serving as owner and operator of a Montessori pre-school in Carmel.

A cancer survivor for over 10 years, Kenneth loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, and took great pride in his yard and landscaping. He is survived by his loving, compassionate wife Sue Ann (Crick) Borgus; devoted daughters Laurel A. McGinnis, Noblesville, IN, and Heather L. (Gregg) Bunning, Indianapolis, IN; caring son Dean K. (Vita) Borgus, Chicago, IL; thoughtful step daughter Jennifer (Justin) Cooper and their children Myles and Willa, Denver, CO; three grandchildren Katie McGinnis, William Borgus and Richard Borgus; brother Melvin (Dorothy “Pat”) Borgus of Churchville, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Austin and former wife Ann Louise (Schug) Borgus (mother of his children).
