Kelly A. Lea

Kelly Ann Lea of Westfield, IN, passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born in Anderson, IN, on November 17, 1965, to parents, Jerry and Shirley (Ridge) Moore. She graduated from Pendleton High School in Pendleton IN. Kelly graduated from Ball State University in 1989 with a B.F.A. in Environmental Interior Design. She had a long and impactful career in the industry working for Carson Design Associates for 20 years.  She was known and loved by her co-workers, sales reps and clients for her selfless dedication, attention to detail, and caring personality. Kelly had her NCIDQ certification and was an advisory board member for the interior design department at Ball State. She was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church, loved travel, crafting of all sorts, and bird watching.  

Kelly married Shelley Lea on September 30, 1989 they spent 34 wonderful years together, he survives. She is survived by sons, Daiton (partner Kennedy Conner) Lea, Devon Lea; grandson, Chace Lea; mother, Shirley (Ridge) Moore; siblings, Shawn (Misty) Moore, Casey (Jon) Hoschouer and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her father Jerry W. Moore; father-in-law Dawson N. Lea and mother-in-law Madelon J. Lea.

Visitation will be held from 4pm until 7pm, Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at Christ United Methodist Church (318 N. Union St. Westfield, IN). A Funeral Service will be held at 10am, Friday, May 17th, 2024, at Christ United Methodist Church. Burial will follow funeral service at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church, Westfield IN, or the American Cancer Society.
