Kelly A. Baugh

Heaven just got a whole lot more stylish.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kelly Baugh, age 68, on Monday, July 13, following a courageous and truly astonishing battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by those who meant the most to her: her family, her two beloved kitties, and her cherished “grand-puppy.”

Born in Toledo and raised in Walbridge, Ohio, Kelly eventually found her way to Indianapolis as a clothing buyer for Paul Harris. Through her work, she was able to travel the world where she found a deep love for fashion and design. But for those who know Kelly, her true passion was interior decor. She rearranged her furniture so often the sofa never knew where it was sleeping next. She could truly turn any house into a home.

And yet, despite her remarkable design acumen, she was always a small-town Ohio girl at heart. She loved getting her hands dirty in the garden and mowing the lawn—even after her twentieth round of chemotherapy—a quiet testament to her grit and resilience.

Kelly’s proudest achievements were her daughters, Kyle and Gabby. She also recently and joyously welcomed her new son-in-law, Brian, into the family at an intimate wedding celebration in her favorite city in the world, New York City.

Kelly is survived by her daughters, Kyle Baugh of Indianapolis and Gabby (Brian) Baugh of San Diego; her “ex”-husband and forever life partner, David Baugh of Indianapolis.

She is reunited with her beloved brother, Michael; her mother, Janice; and her father, Jack “JR.”

A celebration of life will be held outdoors at David Baugh’s home, 451 Braeside Drive N, Indianapolis, IN, on Saturday, July 25 at 11:00 AM. All who knew and loved Kelly are warmly invited to join in celebrating a life lived with style, strength, laughter, and an unwavering love for family.
