Keith M. Swann

Aug 17, 1933 — Aug 6, 2026

Carmel

Keith M. Swann, 92, of Pendleton and more recently Westfield passed away Thursday August 6th. Keith was born in Dandridge, Tennessee on August 17, 1933 to parents, Frank and Lucille (Miller) Swann. Keith attended [name of high school] while working on the farm with his father. Keith served his country honorably in the Army before coming home to take care of his mother and tend the farm upon the death of his father.

Although always a farmer at heart, Keith worked to support his family as a job setter for Ford Motor Company retiring after 40 years in 1997.

Keith was a quiet, caring and compassionate man who quietly guided his children as they grew into adulthood and beyond. His wisdom and unfailing support will be missed by his family and all those who knew him. He enjoyed tending his garden, riding around on his John Deere tractor, boating, watching the Atlanta Braves, and taking those annual vacations on Dale Hollow Lake during shutdowns at the plant.

In his later years he enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to Alan Jackson and Kenny Rodgers on his Grandpad and greeting the neighbors who stopped by regularly for a chat.

Keith was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Diana, his brother Doyle and sister Brenda. Surviving Keith are his children: Cheryl Yacone (the late, Frank), Sheila Tunison (Steven), Christy Swann, Linda Moss, and Michael Swann (Kim); his grandchildren: Matthew Yacone, Kyle Tunison (Lisa), Chad Tunison (Charly), Damon Moss (Shelby), Miranda Moss, Robert Moss, Taylor Swann, and Brandon Taylor; great-grandchildren: Grady, Connor, Raelee, Caylee and Sawyer; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and Gloria Schaekel; Cousin Janice of Dandridge Tennessee, and his favorite lap cat Willow aka Ms. Murpies.
