Our beloved mother, Kathy Ann St. John, 69, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on May 12, 2024. Kathy was born on November 9, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Robert H. St. John and Mary Jane MacArthur.
Kathy leaves her beloved sons, Jonathan, Justin, and Karsten Foerster, whom she was immensely proud of. Survived by her aunt and uncle, Loretta MacArthur Kischnick and Jack Kischnick; two sisters, Connie Jo Woods and Nancy Jane (John) Tinney; two brothers, Michael (Agnes) St. John and Mark St. John; and sister, Marja Koski of Lohja, Finland. Kathy leaves behind many dear friends, cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Kathy dedicated many years to working as an administrative professional in the medical, manufacturing, and renovation/construction fields, retiring from St. Vincent Hospital in December 2020 after 29 years of service. Her loyalty, love for her sons and close friends, sense of humor, kindness, creativity, and passion for crafts will always be remembered and treasured by those who knew her.
She will forever be in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
