Kathy Lynn Margis

Kathy Lynn Margis 56, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, after a long 7 year fight against cancer. She is survived by her husband, Rich; dog, Marley; mom, Darla Boyd; father and mother, Leroy and Jean Carpenter; son, Eddie (Kia) Moorman; daughter, Christina (Rey) Pi; sisters, Julie, Renee, Denise, and Gayle; brother, Jerry; and 8 grandchildren. Visitation for Kathy will be held on Monday, May 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
