Kathryn Virts

Kathryn (Cass) Gramlich Virts passed away on February 15. She lived in Fort Wayne with her parents, Peter and Catherine Gramlich, and her two brothers, Roy and Charles until her marriage to Ensign John Virts. After living up and down the eastern seaboard, she returned with John to Indiana where she graduated from IU. They settled and remained in Indianapolis where she was active in the garden club and PTA. She is survived by her daughter, Libby; nephew, Eric Siversten; nieces, Cyndi Madden and Judy Montgomery. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Monday, February 21 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center - Broad Ripple with calling 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cats Haven, Indy Feral or the Indianapolis Humane Society.
