Kathleen Woodson Trammell

December 25, 1919 — September 5, 2010

Kathleen Woodson Trammell, daughter of Virgil and Alice Malone Woodson, was born December 25, 1919, in Bethpage, Tennessee in Sumner County. At an early age, I was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost and was united to the Durham Chapel Baptist Church. I came to Indianapolis, Indiana, in the year of 1943, and soon became a member of the 25th Street Baptist Church. On November 27, 1947, I was united in Holy Matrimony to Edward Wesley Trammell who preceded me in death. To this union, three children were born—a daughter, Rita and two sons, Edward, Jr. and Daniel. I could always depend upon my children whenever I needed them. On November 28, 1948, I was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, receiving the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gave utterance under the pastorate of the late Bishop Morris E. Golder at Christ Temple Apostolic Church. On December 29, 1985, I became a member of Zion Tabernacle and Agape Apostolic on November 20, 1994. Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me Bless His Holy Name. Humbly yours, Kathleen Woodson Trammell Later in life mother attended church with her oldest son and became a member of Temple of Praise under the pastorate of Suffragan Bishop Donald Golder. On September fifth, two thousand and ten, Kathleen Trammell departed this earthly life to be in the presence of the Lord at the age of ninety years, eight months and five days. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Rita (Joseph) Campbell, Edward W. (Pamela) Trammell Jr., Daniel W. Trammell, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
