Kathleen Marie Mattox

Kathleen Marie Mattox, 67, of Avon, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015. She was born on December 28, 1947 in Vincennes to Thomas Robert and Juanita (Steele) Westfall. Kathie was a 1966 graduate of St. Rose Academy in Vincennes and earned her B.S. from Memphis State University. She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Vincent Hospital for many years. Kathie is survived by her mother; children, Amy King, Paul Mattox, Brian Gruner and Abigail Price. She was preceded in death by her father; and husband, Bernard E. Mattox. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11am at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Danville. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, also at the church. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Crisis Pregnancy Center – Avon or St. Vincent de Paul.
