Kathleen L. Mulvaney

Kathy Louise (Gerlib) Mulvaney, 68, of Carmel, IN (born Chicago, IL) passed away at the IU Health Methodist Hospital on January 15th, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and June Gerlib, and is survived by James, son Lance, and grandson Colin. Kathy was an active member of her community, a creative home cook, a cat enthusiast, and an avid reader. She spent her last years working at the Westfield Public Library sharing her passion for books and reading with local youth and families to promote literacy and the joys of the written word. A friend to all and helping hand to those in need, she will be sorely missed. A viewing will be held at the Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46228 at 10am on Monday. Funeral service will follow at 11am.
