Kathleen A. Flahavin

Kathleen A. Flahavin, 69, of Indianapolis passed away at home September 7, 2022. She was born August 14, 1953, to James E. Yates and Louise (Harris) Yates in Findlay, Ohio.

Life took her on many adventures through the years, and these adventures fostered a love for traveling the globe that lasted until the end.  From the sands of the Middle East through Europe, she never ran out of places she loved. Her life of love stateside consisted of various volunteering, accounting, her coworkers at Nuvo Publications, and just generally helping anyone she could.

She is survived by her husband Michael of 31 years, her son William (Elizabeth) Miller, sisters Sheila Yates and Leslie (Rich) Levine, and one grandson, along with many nieces and nephews that were also like her other children.

She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Yates, father James E. Yates, sister Lil Whitman, brother-in-law James Stephenson, nephew James Yates-Stephenson, and stepmother Marika Yates.
