Katherine Tinnell

Katherine Tinnell 78, Indianapolis, passed away May 13, 2012. Katherine attended Nursing school at St. Vincent Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. In her later years, she enjoyed watching TV, among her favorites were the Cooking and Game channels and was an avid NASCAR fan. Katherine was an animal lover, especially her two dogs. She had a charitable heart, giving to many organizations and individuals. She truly loved the Lord and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Tinnell; children, Lisa and Linda Tinnell; sisters, Marilyn Mills, Anne New, and Janet Wright; brothers, Don, Jim and Kenny Prather; special friends, James Osborne and Cindy vanBree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary (Fish) Prather and sister, Helen Workman. Services will be private. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Arrangements: Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East.
