Katherine M. Johnson

Katherine M. Johnson 90, passed away November 13, 2013 at Countryside Meadows, Avon. She was born September 26, 1923 the daughter of Alta (Rushton) and Lawrence Mabe. Katherine was an avid race fan and enjoyed rooting on the Colts and Pacers. Katherine is survived by a son, Douglas Johnson; 5 nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Johnson; two brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway, 2950 N. Highschool Rd. with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Center Valley Cemetery, Clayton, IN. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Kokomo Rescue Mission or charity of donor's choice.
