Katherine 'Kathy' King

Katherine "Kathy" King , daughter of Willie D. and Pearlie M. King, Was born on April 1st 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kathy received her primary education at IPS school #52 and received her secondary education and graduated from Cold Springs School. Kathy confessed her love for The Lord at an early age and was baptized at Westside Missionary Baptist Church in 1977 in Indianapolis, IN Kathy enjoyed attending the Noble Center, where she socialized, did arts and craft, attended community outings, luncheons, and dinners. Kathy enjoyed being with her family, listening to music, singing, dancing, doing puzzles, word searches, attending church, and drinking Pepsi. Katherine- meaning pure joy, began her life in a pure state and as she transitioned she was as pure as she was born. The joy she brought to our lives was impeccable . Growing up and throughout adulthood Kathy never complained about what she couldn't do. We were blessed to see her pure heart and joy from her soul and will cherish her for a lifetime. Kathy departed this life on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2:45 am. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Florence Pope and Lillie Pearl Pettis; brother, Paul King. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her father, Willie D. King; mother, Pearlie M. King; her brothers Donald (Mardine) King, Ronald (Vashnia) King, Robert (Nicole) King; her sisters Mary Hatchett, Vera (Fredrick) Andrews, Sherry King, and Heather (Lamont) Logwood, a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
