Katherine Atkins

Katherine Marie Atkins, 26 of Valparaiso, IN formerly of Indianapolis passed away July 19, 2012. Katie attended St Thomas Aquinas School, 2005 graduate of Bishop Chatard High School and a 2009 graduate of Indiana University Bloomington. She was employed as an account manager at Awards Network. She was a joyful person who loved life. Katie is survived by her boyfriend Samuel Maule and his girls; parents Elizabeth and Eric Atkins; brothers Nate and Sam; grandmother Maria Rivera, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents Nancy and Leroy Atkins and Juan C. Rivera. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 4600 N. Illinois Street with burial to follow Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, July 23, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple 1305 Broad Ripple Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the St Thomas Aquinas – Haiti Fund.
