Katherine Arlene Hansen

Katherine Arlene (Tway) Hansen, 86, called by Our Lord to be with Him on November 7, 2018. She was the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Tway, and twin sister of Ada Joan (Tway) Joy.

Arlene was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, and attended Public School #84, Broad Ripple High School, and graduated with Honors from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She spent many years teaching Early Childhood Education classes. Arlene also was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority at Indiana University and was a Golden Arrow recipient.

Arlene gave her heart to the Lord September 21, 1971. She and her late husband, Bob, worshipped together at the Church at the Crossing for over 35 years.

Besides her twin sister, Arlene leaves behind her two wonderful children, daughter Tracy (husband Bill) De Ramo and son, Peter (wife Stacie) Hansen and precious grandchildren Matthew and Daniel Crane, Gianna De Ramo, Alexander and Arianna Hansen, and Brandon Greenberg; and great granddaughter, Gabriella.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Church at the Crossing, located at 9111 Haverstick Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
