Karen Sue Bailey “Susie”

71, of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away on June 29, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Karen was born on June 17, 1949 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Leo and Irene Evrard.  She was a 1967 graduate of Chartrand High School.  She retired after 33 years as an administrator at Calvary Cemetery.  She was a member of the Moose and Eagle Lodges of Beech Grove the American Legion of Beech Grove and the Capital City Conservation Club.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Marion “Elmo”, Francis “Inky” and Joseph Evrard.  She is survived by her son, Max (Kelly) Mueller; daughter, Jennifer Prough; granddaughter, Sarrazine Prough; her companion, Eddie West; sister, Veronica Tibbs; nieces, Lisa (Duane) Woods and Mandy (Matt) Ferrell; sister-in-law, Marina Evrard and several great nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2020 from noon to 2 pm with a service at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.
