Karen S. Oney

Karen Sue Oney, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away April 6, 2022. She was born to the late Eual Davis and Francis Brown Davis on April 18, 1945, in Indianapolis.

After graduating from Howe High School, she went on to work in the Lawrence school systems in Special Education Administration.

She married her beloved husband, Danny Oney, on September 22, 1979, and they shared many exciting adventures together including a motorcycle ride across the United States. They traveled coast to coast over three and a half weeks, visiting each state along the way. She loved to be active with her family and every holiday was reason to be together.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Danny W. Oney; daughters, Stacey (Jeff) Rogers and Mellissa Baumann (Brandi Redden); grandchildren, Joseph, Zack, Cody, and Ryan; 12 great-grandchildren.

Karen is proceeded in passing by her grandson, Nick.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 3-6PM with a memorial service to begin at 6pM all held at Flanner Buchanan- Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229.
