Karen A. Clark passed away February 26, 2026, at home in Carmel, Indiana with family by her side. Karen was born on January 21, 1946, in Menominee, Michigan, the daughter of Ruth E. and Arnold M. Johnson, who proceeded her in death. Karen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas; daughter, Heather A. Davis of Carmel, and son Sean T. Clark (Jennifer) of Trophy Club, Texas. Also surviving Karen are granddaughters, Allison Clark and Katherine Clark, and grandsons Kellen Clark and Logan Davis. Karen is also survived by her brother Dr. Brian M. Johnson (Margaret).
Karen grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin where she graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1964, as valedictorian of her class. She graduated from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, having studied mathematics and physics, both of which she subsequently taught in New Jersey prior to starting a family.
Karen was an enthusiastic golfer, traveler, quilter, ceramic artist and continuous volunteer for numerous community endeavors in Carmel and earlier in Muncie, Indiana. Her hobbies revealed extraordinary creativity. She was dedicated to her faith, her family, her friends and her community; a life well lived.
The family wishes to acknowledge her many friends who offered encouragement in prayers, cards, calls and flowers over the past several years. It made her difficult journey less burdensome.
