Karen was born March 9, 1963 inLiverpool, England. She moved to America with her mom, dad, and younger brotherColin as a young girl. She was a hard-working, loyal, thoughtful, sometimesstubborn, strong woman who made a life for herself and her three children,Cindy, Robert and Steve, on the east side of Indianapolis. She managed her father’s bar, John Browne’sPub, for over 20 years until he passed. She went on to work for the IndianapolisCommunity Court for several years. During this time in her life she met hersoul mate, her one true love, Michael Guinn. She and Michael had their first date in January 2010, married in October2013, and relocated to their dream home on an island in Savannah, GA in August2015, along with her three fur babies, Sapphira, Malakye and Certo. DuringKaren and Michael’s six years together, they were each other’s fishing buddyand best friend. They recently purchased a boat and enjoyed frequent fishingtrips along the Wilmington River which leads to the ocean. Each day she told her husband, and anyone sheencountered that day, how blessed she was to live such a wonderful life. Shewas the happiest she had ever been. Besides the Lord, the most important thingto Karen was family. She was the matriarch of a very large blended family thatshe had created throughout her years, collecting new members along the way. Family,as far away as England, are hurting as well as hundreds upon hundreds of familyand friends here in the states. Her passing has left a void in each of us andshe will be forever missed.
