Julina Mcmaster

Julina Belle McMaster, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away, Sunday, July 15, 2012 at her home. Julina was born December 18, 1922 in Madison, IN daughter of Charles and Arebelle (Jenkins) Pender. Julina was twice voted a "Beauty Queen inMadison, IN" in her teenage days. Always with a flair for fashion, she loved: red lipstick, high heeled shoes, and leopard print. Julina moved to Indianapolis to work and was "fixed up" to meet a young man, Alex McMaster, by her brother in law Dink Wright. Al and Julina were married November 5, 1954 in Indianapolis. Julina's beloved Al preceded her in death. Julina was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Marjorie Lee Troxell, sisters: Margie Wright, Grace Snell, and Myrta Aldridge, and brothers: Robert and Earl Pender, grandson: James Sparks and great grandson: Brian Dale Sparks. Julina is survived by her loving daughter, Sherry Temple and her husband Larry who cared for Julina at their home during the final stages of her illness. Julina is also survived by her sister, Dulcie Benson of McCordsville; sister by choice Norma McBride ofIndianapolis. Grandchildren, Tim Sparks of Ft. Myers, FL, Felicia Doll, Vickie Cipriani, Greg Johns II, Luke Johns and Jonathon Temple and Connie Hunter all of Indianapolis, and Alex Temple of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Julina, loved spending time with her family and friends. She spend time each day outdoors in her flower garden and watching birds come to her bird feeders. The rest of her day was spent spoiling her pet Chihuahuas and caring for her feral cat colony Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan - 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN, with Rev. John Young officiating. Visitation will began 11am- ..
