Julie Lynn Sexton, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 1, 1973 to Robert (Steven) and Kristi Delk.She completed her education at Hamilton Southeastern. Throughout her career, she held positions at several different workplaces until her physical condition prevented her from continuing to work.Julie was a woman who knew no strangers, always brimming with sass and humor, the undeniable heart of any gathering. Her life was filled with a passion for rescuing animals, caring for those around her, and adoring her husband. She found joy in casino visits and card games, and her soundtrack was Rock & Roll. In her more active years, fishing trips were a favorite pastime, always accompanied by plenty of adult beverages and laughter. Above all, she loved Jesus and spoke of His presence in her life constantly.Julie is survived by her husband, Glen Jr. Her great aunt, Marilee “Happy” Blackwell; aunts Lisa K Davis and Paula Davis-Buckner; and uncle Cecil Ward. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law Georgia (Mark) Miller, Sarah (Sherri) Sexton, Glenna (Dan) Marciniak, and brother-in-law Bill (Michael) Sexton, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Kevin Green, sisters Diane Franklin, Kathleen Green and her parents-in-laws Glen and Ethel Sexton.

A visitation to honor Julie's memory will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park, situated at 425 North Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222. A celebration of life ceremony will commence at 1 pm, February 26, 2026, at 1 pm. Her final resting place will be Floral Park Cemetery.
