Last call! The bus left the terminal, destination heaven bound. Sandy was called home on January 9, 2026. Sandy was husband to Linda Joan Stegner for 64 years. They were married March 19, 1961, in Indianapolis. Sandy was the only child of deceased parents Oliver and Mabel Stegner. He was born November 6, 1939, in Greensburg, Indiana. Sandy was father to Diane Imhausen and John Stegner. He had an infant son, Andrew and infant daughter, Julie waiting for him in heaven. Grandpa to Jesica, Morgan, and Alyson Stegner. Great Grandfather to Coleson, Crew, Case and Gatsby Owen, Jr. Son-In-Law to George Imhausen, Father-In-Law to Jeni Stegner. Friend and neighbor to all. Sandy never met a stranger; Sandy always had a smile on his face and a joke to be told. He touched many lives, and they touched his more than they will ever know. Sandy worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for 42 years and was a member of Center Community Church, Plainfield, Indiana. Visitation will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
