Julian G. Mount

Julian G. Mount, 92, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014. He was born August 18, 1922 in Russellville, Indiana to the late Leon C. and Audrey Mount. Julian proudly served his country in World War II. He found employment as a Senior Technician in Pharmaceutical Research for Eli Lilly for 37 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Member of the Scottish Rite, as well as Scoutmaster of Troop 3 at Irvington Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed being a member of the Circle 8 Square Dance Club. He will be dearly missed by his family, including his children Linda K. (Walter) Smith, James G. (Pam) Mount, and Carol Sue (Richard) Wood; grandchildren Jennifer Leake, Adam Smith, Amanda E. Lewis, Katherine A. Brandolini, Kimberly D. Mount, Kristen M. Mount, Mary Barbara Marti, and Andrew Wood; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Julian is preceded in death by his wife Mary D. Mount, and a sister Shirley Ann Morgan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
