Julian D. Carter, 75, of Indianapolis, passedaway January 13, 2016. He was born June 10, 1940 in Adolphus, Kentucky to Wiley and Emmie Carter, who precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by wife, Karen Carter, three sisters, five brothers and two granddaughters, Jamie Amanda Carter and Dusti Leigh Todd. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Donova (Ron) Duncan, Julia Carter Brock and James (Chrissie Miller) Carter, his grandchildren, Michael Todd, Kenneth (Shannon) Duncan, Jesse (Heather) Duncan, Lascie (Derrick) Thiesing, Zachariah Carter and Heather Boyd. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Trinti McGill, Eden Thiesing, Dynasti Boyd and Jamay Tracey.
Julian, also known as "Pa", was a kind hearted, generous man who would help anyone. He was very devoted to his family, making sure they had everything they needed. He never knew a stranger. He loved the Lord and spent time as a Lay Preacher. One of his daughter's favorite sermons was "Jesus Wept". Julian enjoyed life. He loved to rabbit hunt and run competition beagle hounds. He was jokester, who enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. He retired from Aerofab.
