Julia A. Willis

Julia A. (Bowles) Willis 60 of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 25, 2011. She worked in the Food Service Department for the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township for 10 + years retiring in 2009. She was the widow of David M. Willis who passed away October 1, 2009. She was an independent, proud, good person who for many years nurtured children other than her own as a Foster Parent. She loved spending time with her family especially the grandchildren whom she spoiled every chance she got. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, David, Jr., Brian, Rebekah, Mark, Elizabeth, Zach, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, mother, Dorothy Balay, sisters, Rita, Kathy, Rhonda, Tina, Vickie, brothers, Roy, David, Daniel, and Sandy. Services will be held on Wednesday November 30, 2011 10 AM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there on Tuesday November 29th 4-8 PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Round Hill Cemetery. Memorial Gifts may be made to the family in Care of the Funeral Center.
