Judy Kay Cox

Judy Kay Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2026, at 81 years of age. She was born on October 15, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Fred and Mary (Carter) Lancing. Judy was a Secretary for the Indiana State Police from 1990-2010. She enjoyed spending time with her family and flowers. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Judy is survived by her daughter, Annette (Greg) Spencer, her granddaughter, Megan Wilson, her great grandson, Hunter Wilson, her brother, Fred (Nancy) Lancing, extended family and a host of friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband- Jerry Cox. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the Funeral Service immediately following at 1:00pm there. She will be laid to rest privately at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you cannot attend the service in person, it will be Livestreamed with the information found on website.
