Judith "Judy" Ann Cittadine

February 15, 1941 — August 16, 2025

Fishers

Judith Ann Cittadine, 84, passed away peacefully in her home on August 16, 2025, and is now in God’s eternal embrace. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy’s vibrant spirit and loving heart touched so many people.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Gerald Cittadine, her two children, Stephen (Kay) Cittadine and Patricia (Robert) Myers; her six cherished grandchildren, Megan (Brian) Fuller, Abby (Brian) Lahti, Michael (Kennedy) Myers, Joshua (Paula) Cittadine, Lexi (Joey) Hagerbaumer, and Mia Cittadine. and her five adored great-grandchildren, Gavin Fuller, Noah Fuller, Logan Fuller, Mila Hagerbaumer, and Fletcher Hagerbaumer. Her family was her pride and joy, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, filling their lives with love, laughter and so many wonderful memories.

Born on February 15th, 1941, in South Bend, to her late parents Clement and Phyllis Micinski. Judy dedicated her professional life to nurturing young minds as an elementary school teacher. Her passion for children shone through in her classroom and her life by appreciating each child and their unique personalities. Her love for teaching was matched only by her devotion to her family and her zest for life’s simple joys.

Judy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a dedicated wife to Jerry that stood as a role model for many to try to emulate. Judy and Jerry loved traveling and were able to visit more than a dozen countries together. She also loved to go to Las Vegas and always had a fabulous trip! Her kitchen was a place of creativity, where she whipped up delicious meals that she created by taste and memory. No matter when you showed up at her house, she would feed a home-cooked meal to you, your friends and anyone else that came along.

She made herself available to anyone who wanted to talk and lent an ear by offering comfort as well as no judgement. She adored her grandkids and would be the one on the floor playing and before long everyone would be laughing. Judy also loved her yard and was an avid gardener, often spending hours a day working outside. She transformed her heavily wooded yard into a haven of beauty, where she cared for her koi pond and cultivated vibrant plants and flowers intermixed with landscape boulders. Judy also loved animals both domesticated and wild. She also loved to feed “her animals,” which were any animals that found their way to her yard. Even any insect found in the house had to be captured and released outside. Known for her quick wit and hearty laugh, Judy had a gift for lighting up any room, her energy and kindness leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Judy would want us all to find joy in everyday, to care for one another, to stay close as family and friends and to not take life too seriously.

Judy’s legacy of love, generosity, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation will be held at St. Louis De Montfort Church in Fishers, Indiana beginning at noon on September 22 followed by a Catholic Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm. A celebration of her life will follow Mass at ~3:00 p.m. at I Tre Mori restaurant in Fishers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Human Society for Hamilton County so we can continue to care for the animals in need.

Rest in peace, dear Judy, in the heavenly gardens where your light will shine forever.
