Judith A. Malz

Judith A. Malz, 77, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Judith was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 6, 1937, to the late Edward and Frances Drake. She was a banker working at various Chicago area banks as an assistant vice president specializing in the development, coordination, and implementation of various programs geared toward senior citizens. Judy retired from the banking industry after more than 25 years of service. Judy was thrilled and excited to be in a position to create numerous travel and tourism packages for her senior customers which provided her the opportunity to travel with them around the world. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 27th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 28th in the Chapel at St. Vincent Hospice, followed by a prayer vigil at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Judith is survived by her husband, Carl N. Malz; children, Laura Byram (husband, Ross), Nicholas Malz (wife, Kathy) and Kurt Malz; grandchildren, Christina Ann Dolina, Nicholas Cole Malz, Channing Mae Malz, Zachary Warren Malz, Robert Carl Malz; great-granddaughter, Josephine Ann Dolina; brothers, William and James Drake.
