On April 20, 1936, in Tuskegee, Alabama, Juanita Wallace entered this world. She was welcomed by her parents, Luevinnia Tatum and "Big" Ben Johnson. Juanita left school at an early age to work and help around her parents' farm. There she met her childhood sweetheart Andeson (Mack) Wallace Jr. They later left Alabama with their two daughters Vickie and Rita Gail for Indianapolis, Indiana. Soon after, they welcomed their three sons Ricky, Anthony, and LaQuania.
Mack and Juanita united in marriage February of 1954. Their marriage lasted 63 years before Mack preceded her in going home. She will also be welcomed by her daughter Vickie, parents and seven siblings (Annie Lois, Josie May, Frank, Eddie, Bud, Ben). Juanita enjoyed singing in the church choir of First Samuel Baptist Church, shopping, fishing and chatting with her two best friends Betty Perry and Margret (Anne) Black. During her time, Juanita worked at Wishard Memorial Hospital for 23 years.
Juanita passed peacefully in her sleep while being cared for by her daughter Rita Gail and her son-in-law Edward Henning in Evansville, Indiana. She leaves behind her three sons, her daughter, their spouses, grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.
