Juanita Rankin

Juanita G. Rankin, died July 30,2026, after a short illness, she was 97 years old.

She lived in Carmel, IN since 1962. She worked as an industrial nurse for General Motors for 27.5 years, from 1964-1991. She attended Hope CMA church. She was active in helping with the 2- and 3-year-old children.

She is survived by her daughter, Doris; and preceded in death by her son, Carl Dankert.

At the time of death, she has 4 grandsons and 4 great-grandsons.

A brief visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 12pm-12:3pm at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel (325 E. Carmel Dr. Carmel, IN 46032). A private family graveside service will take place August 7, 2026, at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant, IN.

A memorial service will be held later this month, more details to come.
