Juanita Marvel

Juanita M. Marvel 89, Indianapolis, passed away November 2, 2011. She was born May 26, 1922 in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late James and Olive (Trester) Marvel. Juanita graduated in 1940 from Shortridge High School. She worked as a secretary for Western Electric/AT+T in 1950 and retired in 1980. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother Lt. James J. Marvel, who was killed in a plane crash in Japan. She is survived by Niece, Diana Balasky; Nephew, Michael L. Marvel (Pam); Great nieces, Dr. Kimberly Balasky, Dr. Jennifer Balasky, Megan Cranfill, and Lauren Ramsey; Step Niece, Lois Ann Kinney (Dr. Wayne) A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 4, 2011, at Union Chapel Cemetery.
