Juanita M. "Mama Juan" Murray Hollins, 80, passed Feb. 27, 2015 at her home with family.
She was born July 31, 1934 in Indianapolis to Luella (Duerson) Mullins and Jesse Pennington.
Juanita was a graduate of Crispus Attacks High School. She had worked over 30 years as a Ward Clerk with Indiana University Hospital. She was a member and baptized at New Liberty Spiritual Church. Juanita enjoyed watching her soap operas, game shows and Chicago Bulls.
Juanita is survived by sons, Richard (Laleatha) Murray, Jr and Victor (Twana) Murray; daughters, Debra (Barry) Smith and Carla (Jeffery) Murray; 13 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; honorary baby, LaIndia Staten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Hollins; a son, Jeffery Murray; a brother, Robert Duerson; grandson, Mario Tyson and a best friend in life Rose Burton.
Visitation will be 11 am until service time Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd.
Services will be 1 pm March 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
