Juanita I. Steinhoff

Juanita I. McDevitt Steinhoff age 93, of Indianapolis, Hamilton County, born in New Harmony, IN on June 4, 1919, has passed away on September 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Steinhoff and one brother, James McDevitt. She is survived by her sister, Darline Fritz, daughters, Linda (Walter) Tomasik and Lola (Bill) Roberts, grandchildren, Dan Coyle, Charla Freeman and Joe Roberts. She had many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was a 57 year long member of the Euchre Club and a member of Carmel United Methodist Church. She never knew an enemy and would do anything for anyone at any time. Anybody who met her, always wanted to take her home and adopt her. She was the sweetest woman in the world. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Calling will be at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4-8p.m. Services will be on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at Carmel United Methodist Church. Her final resting place will be at Washington Memorial Park-East. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
