Juan Francisco Javier Hurtado

Juan Francisco Javier Hurtado was born on October 4th, 1973, in Monterrey, Mexico, to Francisco and Leticia Hurtado. He was the older brother of David and Gerardo Hurtado. The Hurtados moved to America and settled in Maybrook, NY, where Juan grew up.

In his early twenties, he started working at warehouses, and in 2003 he moved to Indiana to work at Cardinal Health, where he would meet his future wife, Asha. Juan and Asha married on October 8th, 2004. Later in his career, due to his strong work ethic, he would become an operations manager and work to improve his team and his own work daily. At the end of his career, he was a project manager at NEFAB.

Juan loved motorcycles, cows, and country music. After a long journey dealing with multiple health issues, Juan passed away on July 14th, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leticia Hurtado, and brother, David Hurtado. He is survived by: wife, Asha Hurtado; son, Francisco Hurtado; daughters, Serenna Bottoms and Alycia Dorman; father, Francisco Hurtado; brother, Gerardo Hurtado; and sister-in-law, Liz Hurtado.

Juan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and his care team. It brings us all comfort to know Juan is now riding free.
