Juan “John” Francisco Reyes, 39, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on May 22, 2018. He was born June 15, 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Juan and Maria Reyes; one of two children.
A lifetime Indiana resident, Juan graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1997. He spent 18 years working on a farm, a job he dearly loved as he had a great love of plants and agriculture. He was most recently a salesman for Brehob Nursery in Indianapolis. Juan was a poet, farmer, movie lover, and tree lover but most importantly a great son, brother and uncle. His sister, Lorena, has many amazing memories of her brother, but she especially cherishes the last few weeks she got to spend with her brother in Oregon. The family misses his presence on earth, but they know they’ll see him on the other side due to their strong Catholic faith.
Juan is survived by his parents, Juan and Maria; sister, Lorena (Mike) Jones; infant nephew, Evan Jones; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit, Tuesday, May 29 from 4-8 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221. A funeral mass will take place Wednesday, May 30 at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 317 N New Jersey St, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
