Joyce E. Osborn

Joyce Evelyn Osborn of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, to be with her Lord and her loving husband of 71 years with her family by her side. She was born on November 6th, 1930, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Earl and Ruby Taylor.

She was a homemaker who loved caring for her family and was a life-long member of St Marks Lutheran Church. Joyce was a school secretary for many years for the IPS schooling system. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star. She served as a past Matron, Grand Representative for the Order of the Eastern Star state of Maine. She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She was a proud, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother.

Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband Leo; parents Earl Taylor and Ruby Taylor; brother Martin Watkins and sister Pat Taylor.

Joyce is survived by sons Steven E (Cindy) Osborn and Charles L. Osborn: daughter Cindy L. (Thomas) Angrick: grandchildren; Chris, Christy, Alicia, Jim, Jennifer, Ryan, Laura and Amy: She was blessed with 15 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5-7PM and on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 9-10 AM with a service to follow at 10:00 AM all to take place at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN.
