79, born on August 16, 1931, passed away on Tuesday, August 24th. Mrs. Blake retired from the telephone company after 30 plus years of service; and was a former member of the Pioneer Club.
Mrs. Blake is preceded in death by 3 brothers, John Roberts, Clayton Roberts, and Malcom Roberts; parents, John F. and Maude N. Roberts (Lamar); and late husband, Joe Blake.
She is survived by three children, Paula K. Blake, Lisa L. Fruits, and Kip O. (Mary) Blake; six grandchildren, Jason (Erin) Creviston, Corey Fruits, Cameron Fruits, Brandon Blake, Toby Blake, and Brittany Lach; great granddaughter, Makenzie Creviston; and brothers, Gene (Mary Ann) Roberts and Claude (Ruth) Roberts.
Visitation for Mrs. Blake will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September, 4, 2010 at the funeral center. Interment will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
