Joyce D. Daugherty

Joyce D. Daugherty, 77, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 4, 2012 at IU Health-West. She was born August 27, 1934 in Indianapolis to Roy and Clara (Ralston) Sprowl. Joyce had worked in jewelry sales at Sam's Club on Rockville Rd. for several years. Her life was her family and church. She belonged to Life Tabernacle Church. Joyce is survived by her husband, David; son, Joshua Carzaras, his children, Joshua Jr. and Julie Key; two brothers, Robert (Beverly) Sprowl and Lloyd (Lena) Sprowl; step-children, Denise (Mike) LaGrange, Kevin (Rita) Daugherty and Jeffery (Sonya) Daugherty. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Wayne Sprowl and a sister, Violet Evelyn Beasley. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
