Joyce Crist

85, Indianapolis, passed away March 26, 2016. Joyce was bornin Indianapolis, IN to Robert and Georgia (Parker) Bottoms. She worked as aHigh School English teacher for Indianapolis Public Schools. Joyce enjoyedplaying bridge with her girlfriends and traveling. Some of her favorite travels include falladventures in Brown County and her many trips to California with her family exploring wine country, Lake Tahoe andSan Francisco, even taking an RV down the Pacific Coast.

Joyce will belovingly missed by her daughters, Kimberly Goodrich (Edward Smith) and SusanCrist Forrer; grandchildren, Matthew Goodrich, Mitchell Forrer, Kayla Goodrich,and Bradley Forrer; brother, Robert Bottoms (Myra); as well as many dearfriends and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, DouglasCrist, parents, and brother, Billy.

Friends may callfrom 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East.Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Memorial contributionsmay be made in Joyce’s memory to a breast cancer research organization of yourchoice or to the Eastgate Christian Church.
