Joyce Ann Napariu

Joyce Ann Napariu, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. She was born on November 16, 1933 in Indianapolis to George and Ula May (Parker) Katra. Joyce was a graduate of George Washington High School and worked as a secretary for the Warren Township School District, retiring in 1991. She married George Napariu on November 4, 1956 and had been an active member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church since 1966. Joyce is survived by her children, Philip (Vicky) Napariu and Julie (Mark) Kreutzer; 6 grandchildren, Eric (Ashley) Napariu, Jennifer (Chris) Cutliff, Erica (Chris Rowe) Fox, Brandon Fox, Marci (Luke Bokelman) Kreutzer, Matthew Kreutzer; 6 great-grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by her brother, Donald (Winona) Katra. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; and brother, Jerry Katra. Visitation for Joyce will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 3-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday morning at 10am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
